Meet our team of CA Brokers and Covered CA Certified Agents:
Ryan Bedrosian, President – License #0F00667
Towards the end of 2013, Ryan started Benefit Agents in order to streamline the education and enrollment process associated with Covered CA, the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP), and the private sector. The firm is focused on small businesses and individuals looking to purchase medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
As most people search the internet to understand the Affordable Care Act they find themselves getting lost in the details. Ryan and, co-founder, Arman’s focus to set up Benefit Agents was to provide one simple website where applicants of the states public health exchange, Covered CA, could find clarity in an ever-changing and confusing CA marketplace.
For the first time in history, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act represented the most significant regulatory overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system since the passage of Medicare and Medicaid in 1965. There was no question that the founders of Benefit Agents wanted to be at the forefront of the technological, financial, and clinical improvements to drive better health outcomes, lower costs, and improve accessibility.
Ryan founded an insurance platform, Simple Life which is on a mission to make the insurance enrollment and education process understandable once and for all. The Simple Life experience was built with the individual consumer in mind through every step of the process. It is the first service to harmonize and create synergy between the individual, HR, insurance carrier and insurance broker.
Ryan has been a Top of the Table member of Million Dollar Round Table for the last few years. In addition, he completed the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) Program under the academic direction of The Wharton School of Business. The CEBS curriculum represents specialized knowledge in group benefits, retirement, and compensation. It is the only professional certification in total compensation and only about 7,000 individuals hold the designation in the U.S.
Ryan currently holds licenses in Accident and Health and Life Insurance in California and other states.
